Andrew G Jenkins BSc MRICS IMaPS
Andrew has over 35 years experience in the construction industry. Commencing work with Surrey County Council in 1979 within their Architect's Department undertaking Quantity Surveying services on a multitude of Local Authority projects including schools, homes for the elderly, fire stations and the like whilst attending Kingston Polytechnic and attaining a BSc in Quantity Surveying and then going on to achieve Associate status of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Following on from obtaining this professional qualification, Andrew then moved to Cyril Sweet & Partners in their
Brighton Office in 1985 and undertook quantity surveying services including being project surveyor on
refurbishment of the Brighton Metropole Hotel and the new construction of the Superstore at Brighton
Marina as well as involvement in numerous other projects until moving on in October 1987.
Andrew then joined the forerunner of LOVJEN Ltd in 1987 (originally a subsidiary of Graham Wood plc named LRM Contract Services) rejoining with Charlie Love who was also at Surrey County Council.
Since this time and through a management buy out and practice restructuring Andrew has amassed substantial experience in all sectors of construction and with domestic and commercial clients as well as carrying out works for building contractors and specialist sub-contractors.
Andrew also became qualified as a Planning Supervisor, which then effectively became CDM-Co-ordinator and remains an Incorporated member of the Association for Project Safety which enables Andrew to act as Principal Designer on construction projects.
Andrew, in 2017, decided to part company with LOVJEN Ltd to set up in his own right continuing to provide professional services across the whole industry.
